IMOCG 2024

In de zomer van 2024 barst het in Groningen opnieuw van het jonge orgeltalent. Uit de hele wereld komen jonge organisten naar de stad om te strijden om de eerste prijs in de International Martini Organ Competition 2024. Stad en regio Groningen zijn uniek als het gaat om de vele fraaie historische orgels die er te vinden zijn: tijdens het concours wordt er op maar liefst 3 van deze prachtige instrumenten gespeeld.

De IMOCG 2024 belooft een week vol prachtige muzikale hoogtepunten te worden, met concerten door de internationale juryleden, masterclasses, orgelexcursies en natuurlijk de verschillende competitie-onderdelen waar het publiek naar kan komen luisteren.

Data en inschrijving
De IMOCG is van zondag 28 juli t/m zaterdag 3 augustus 2024. De inschrijving voor het concours wordt geopend in september 2023 en is mogelijk tot 31 maart 2024; houd voor alle actuele informatie deze website in de gaten.

The summer of 2024 will be another one in which the city of Groningen – situated in the north of The Netherlands – is bursting with young organ talent! Young organists from all over the world will come to the city to compete in the International Martini Organ Competition Groningen 2024. The town of Groningen is unique because of its wealth of beautiful historic organs: during the competition 3 of these instruments will be played.

The IMOCG 2024 promises to be a week full of wonderful musical highlights, with concerts by the international jury members, masterclasses, an excursion to organs in the rural environment of Groningen and of course the competition elements.

Dates and start registration
The IMOCG will take place from Sunday 28 July to Saturday 3 August 2024. Registration for participants opens in September 2023 until 31 March 2024; check this website for up-to-date information.
